About this Position

We are looking for an experienced manager to be the PMO for Global Production Network 3 for the Thermal, Thermoset & Specialties technologies. Working in strong collaboration with the regional execution teams, the core focus will be to deliver Production Network Designs that improve performance, delivery, cost, safety and sustainability to ensure that each network is aligned to market expectations, and to meet the varied needs of our customers in the many market segments we serve.

The role will report to the GTN Head for the above technologies and will require collaborative interfaces with the following key functions: Divisional & SBU leaders and representatives, Technology Management, Product Development, Global Supply Network Steering, Controlling, Global Capital Project Management, Regional Operations Teams, Global Operations groups, Local Project managers & functional experts.

What you´ll do

  • Develop Production Network Designs for all L2’s within the NW 3 portfolio. Align final proposed designs with key stakeholders.
  • Support the development of execution plans of strategic footprint decisions within the network and support the regional. execution teams where relevant.
  • Contribute to, maintain and report on L1 technology roadmaps
  • Steer & oversee the initiation & feasibility studies of technology capital investment projects in preparation for the annual strategic capital planning process and the recurring AO Investcom.
  • Prioritization analysis for capex investments within each L1 network
  • Analyze and drive decision making for product transfers, localization and make or buy scenarios
  • Support GTN Head in regularized structured governance processes within NW 3 (quarterly reviews, L1 Leadership sessions, Ops Leadership Meetings etc.).
  • Support GTN Leadership team to develop and evolve core processes within the function. Collaborate closely with Global Operations Strategy Team and GTN PMO/PE community to achieve same.

What makes you a good fit

  • 10 yrs + experience in complex cross-regional Projects
  • Primary Degree in a relevant discipline. Masters degree advantageous.
  • Strong proven Program management skills and methodologies. PMO experience an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Operations and Supply Chain, including its organization and key interfaces; knowledge of investment controlling and key financial decision tools is an advantage
  • Demonstrated business acumen
  • Excellent Influencing & Communication skills with various levels of seniority.
  • Strong collaboration capability and a ‘Can-Do’ attitude.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data from multiple sources and draw correct conclusions from same
