What you´ll do
- Generate profitable and sustainable sales growth across the designated territory of Abu Dhabi, with a focus on Waterproofing and Construction Chemicals.
- Identify and generate new business leads, engage directly with main contractors, and manage the sales cycle through to successful deal closure.
- Acquire new customers and accounts while developing and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with existing customers.
- Assess customer requirements and recommend the most suitable products and solutions from the available product portfolio.
- Collaborate closely with Support, Account Management, Business Development, and other internal stakeholders to ensure effective customer service and business growth.
- Support customers in resolving product-related or technical issues in coordination with the Technical Customer Service team.
- Manage customer complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring a high response rate and maintaining expected levels of customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, pipeline development, customer activity, and potential risks or challenges that may impact business results.
- Participate in regular sales and management meetings and provide relevant market, customer, and business updates.
What makes you a good fit
- 5+ years of experience in construction, sales, or business development, preferably within the Waterproofing and Construction Chemicals industry.
- Strong technical understanding of construction applications, materials, and site requirements.
- Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Results-driven mindset with strong follow-up skills, determination, and the ability to achieve sales and business targets.
- Excellent stakeholder management, relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to engage confidently with contractors, consultants, customers, and other key industry stakeholders.
- Ideal profile: A Civil Engineering professional with hands-on site or construction experience combined with proven commercial acumen, or a strong motivation to transition from a technical role into commercial sales.
