The account manager/sales engineer is a dynamic role with Henkel combining B2B sales skills with good understanding of the applications of and insight in our customers. This role manages the sale of the products of Henkel Adhesive Electronics into assigned accounts, market segment and/or area. He/She takes overall responsibility for the delivery of results according to plan(s). To achieve his/her objectives, this role is expected to closely work with others regionally and globally across accounts, functions and departments. While technical expertise is a pre, the focus IS on identifying opportunities and commercially managing customers driving the promotion and acceptance of compelling solutions together with others in the organization that will support this role.

YOUR ROLE

 Accountabilities and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Takes ownership of his/her sales targets and plan

  • Provides sales forecasts, plans and ensures the delivery of the targets and plans.

  • Drives and guides activities of self to ensure expectations of customers and Henkel are met.

  • Regularly reviews performance according to plan including detailed (key) account, prospect and project plans where needed.

  • Works closely with others in the organization in support of SBU, global and regional strategies.

  • Handles customer price and business negotiations in close cooperation with others.

  • Takes ownership of continuous development of him/herself.

YOUR SKILLS

To perform the above, the candidate should possess the following education or experience:

  • BS in a technical discipline (Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, etc.) MBA preferred

  • Preferably at least 3 years work experience in the Semiconductor, Electronics Manufacturing or Electronic Component industry (Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Production) in a global/MNC environment.

  • Sales experience of a minimum of 1-2 years a pre.

  •  Passionate about sales and business excellence; by nature organized with experience in: Account planning, Strategic/consultative selling methodologies and account planning & World class sales automation tools/systems for target tracking and pipe line management.

  • An assertive and result driven team player with ability to leverage others in industry and company.

  • Excellent communication skills in English – presentation, verbal, written

  • Excellent and advanced computer literacy
