YOUR ROLE:


  • The Quality Engineer will oversee quality assurance activities at Henkel's Salisbury, NC manufacturing facility to ensure the highest standards of quality are being met for our customers.
  • Responds to quality issues within the manufacturing plant and partners with other manufacturing and engineering departments to implement quality improvement and continuous improvement projects.
  • Maintain continued compliance of documentation in the ISO quality system and train inspectors to customer specific quality standards.
  • Lead Material Review Board meetings for assigned manufacturing processes in support of and resolution of discrepent material.
  • Work with customers on quality review, and correction action as needed.
  • Responsible for coordinating and implementing the quality activities as directed by the Quality Manager for the ISO Quality Management System and perform ISO internal auditing.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry or relevant Science discipline and 3-5+ years’ experience within manufacturing or closely related industry 
  • Knowledge and experience with ISO/QS standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001) 
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis, resolve customers quality complaints while working cross functionally with operations 
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills across all levels of the organization
